Back from Nashville! BIG HUGE GIGANTIC THANK YOU to Rebecca, Diego, and Ella Grace for keep us again in their lovely home. It's so relaxing there... you guys are the best! :) This picture is fuzzy, but had to start off this post with it... it's so telling.... are you taking our picture AGAIN???... We love our girls! (Ella Grace is just a month younger than Grace, so they played very well together!)....
So, this weekend was crazy, but very fun! Right after we got in and chilled for a bit, we were off to meet "the cousins" for dinner! This is Aaron and Miranda's family... Nate's older brother. We're so glad they are coming in for Thanksgiving so we can see them more! These pictures are hilarious and exactly how dinner went... they were all very excited to see each other!
The boys trying to control the kids....
Two little blondies... Crews hugging Grace... they're just 3 weeks apart!...
Reagan, Grace, and Walker...
The girls...
Then back to home base for the night! This is a total sidenote, but can I just tell you about my genius friend, Rebecca? So, I was not very hopeful for Grace to sleep very good in the pack-n-play, but listen to what Rebecca does! She cut one of those thick eggshell bed pad things to fit the pack-n-play, then wrapped a quilt around it and put that on top of the harder pad. Grace slept beautifully both nights and took a great nap on Saturday! GENIUS!
So the next morning, we all met Chris Anne and David for breakfast! So fun! Here's Ella Grace checking out the girls...
Then it was off to the park! We couldn't resist! It was 70 degrees!!!...
Don't ask me what Grace is doing...
Back home for naps and then COOKIES!...
This is SO fun, huh Grace?...
We then went to Richard, Suzanne, and Mary Jackson's house to hang out for a bit and go to dinner! This is the only picture I got of them together... busy bees!...
Sunday morning before we left...
We always get the girls with the boys before we leave... it's traditon from when we first came in with Grace when she was 4 months old! Too bad I told Grace to roar like a lion... nice!...
Me with sweet Rebecca!...
Time for bye-bye kisses!...
Then, OH THEN! We got to see Whitney and KELEE!! She made it all the way from South Africa! 20 hour plane ride! Holy COW! They were both in a wedding all weekend, so this was literally our only chance to meet up before we had to head back. We had a great time catching up at breakfast... Wish I could tell you all about Kelee's life right now. It would take a book, but she is doing amazing things. I'm very proud of you Kelee!! I was SO happy to see these girls! Here's Kelee, me, and Whit...
So, we're home, laundry is being washed and dried, I need to go to the grocery store, get ready for a big girl's 2 year old party this weekend, and wait for my sweet niece to enter the world hopefully any day now!!! Have a great week all!
